Detroit, MI – Cool and sunny weather will dominate the start of the week across Southeast Michigan, bringing classic fall conditions with highs in the mid to upper 50s and crisp nights in the 30s, according to the National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac.

Forecasters say Monday and Tuesday will feature mostly sunny skies and dry conditions, with daytime highs between 54°F and 57°F and overnight lows dipping to around 32–35°F in outlying areas.

A weak weather system is expected to bring a slight chance of afternoon showers Wednesday, mainly south of I-69, but overall rainfall chances remain low.

By late week, temperatures are expected to hold steady in the 50s before a potential warming trend next weekend.

Residents can expect several ideal days for outdoor activities, leaf peeping, and fall clean-up before the next brief system arrives midweek.
