Detroit, MI – A Wayne County man has been charged in connection with an alleged sexual assault outside a downtown Detroit venue last week.
According to the Detroit Police Department, prosecutors charged Wilfredo Figueroa-Berrios, 47, of Wayne, with felony criminal sexual conduct in the third degree and misdemeanor criminal sexual conduct in the fourth degree. Authorities said the charges stem from an incident that occurred Friday outside 47 East Adams Street in Detroit.
Investigators allege that Figueroa-Berrios forced his way into a portable restroom where he allegedly sexually assaulted a 41-year-old woman.
