Detroit, MI – Detroit Police say a major narcotics and weapons seizure this week led to one felony arrest and the recovery of over $155,000 worth of illegal drugs.
According to the Detroit Police Department, members of the Fugitive Apprehension Services Team (FAST), Commercial Auto Theft Section (CATS), and Narcotics units executed two search warrants on November 1, 2025, in the 15000 block of Cherrylawn on the city’s west side.
Officers recovered approximately 170.8 grams of cocaine, 30.9 grams of fentanyl, 1,465.4 grams of methamphetamine, 19 ecstasy pills, and 1,241.5 grams of an unidentified powder, along with three firearms and assorted packaging materials, ammunition, and papers.
Police estimate the combined street value of the seized narcotics at $155,845. Investigators say the operation was part of ongoing efforts to reduce gun and drug crimes across Detroit neighborhoods.
“Each recovered firearm and illegal substance potentially saved several innocent lives,” police said in a statement, thanking officers for their work to keep the community safe.
Residents are encouraged to report suspicious activity by calling or texting 911.
