PHOENIX, Ariz. – Warm, dry weather will grip central and southwestern Arizona through early next week, extending an unusually mild and tranquil stretch for early November before a shift toward cooler and wetter conditions appears likely by mid-month.

According to the National Weather Service in Phoenix, temperatures will stay 5 to 10 degrees above normal through at least Tuesday, with highs near 85°F in Phoenix, 90°F in El Centro, and mid-80s in Yuma. Globe will see upper 70s to near 80°F before cooling late in the period. Daily sunshine and light winds will dominate, with minor HeatRisk each afternoon.

“Dry and tranquil conditions are expected to persist several more days,” forecasters said, noting that computer models are signaling a pattern change between November 13–19, when a series of Pacific systems could bring cooler temperatures and increased rain chances to the desert Southwest.

The mid-month outlook shows odds favoring below-normal temperatures and above-normal precipitation across much of Arizona, particularly north and east of Phoenix. Residents are advised to monitor forecasts closely next week as early winter patterns begin to take shape.

Until then, the extended stretch of sunshine is ideal for outdoor activities, though forecasters advise wearing sunscreen and staying hydrated during the warm afternoons.
