Denver, Colorado – Winds are picking up again across Colorado Tuesday, especially along the Front Range and higher elevations, but warmer air is returning as temperatures climb steadily into the 70s and 80s through Thursday.

According to the National Weather Service in Denver/Boulder, Tuesday will see gusty conditions with highs ranging from 66–72°F in the Urban Corridor and 45–60°F in the mountains and valleys. Winds are expected to ease by Wednesday, with mostly sunny skies dominating the rest of the week.

Daytime highs on Wednesday and Thursday are expected to reach 70–80°F along the plains, while mountain regions will range from the upper 40s to mid-70s. While the wind poses some travel discomfort early Tuesday, no major weather hazards are expected for the midweek period.

Residents should secure outdoor items today and limit high-profile vehicle travel through windy corridors. With calmer weather ahead, it’s a good window for outdoor plans and springtime yardwork.

This stretch of mild, near-normal temperatures is expected to last through Thursday, with the next update expected if conditions shift or new advisories are issued.
