Denver, Colorado – Above-normal temperatures are expected to continue across the Denver–Boulder region through Christmas Day under a persistent dry weather pattern.

According to the National Weather Service in Denver/Boulder, daytime highs will remain well above late-December averages through midweek, with a few record highs possible Monday. Many Front Range locations are forecast to reach the upper 50s to mid-60s, with some plains areas approaching the upper 60s.

Forecasters said dry conditions will dominate through at least Wednesday, limiting any precipitation chances across the metro area and northeastern Colorado. Overnight lows will remain relatively mild for the season, reducing the potential for icy road conditions during early morning hours.

The National Weather Service noted that the next chance for snow will be confined mainly to the mountains on Christmas Day, while lower elevations are expected to stay dry. No significant travel impacts are anticipated for the Denver metro area at this time.

Temperature forecasts show continued warmth into Christmas Day, with highs remaining above normal despite increasing cloud cover in some areas. Winds are expected to remain light, contributing to stable and quiet weather conditions.

For commuters, travelers, and holiday shoppers, the extended stretch of dry and mild weather offers favorable conditions leading up to Christmas. However, mountain travelers should continue monitoring forecasts for potential snow impacts later in the week.

The National Weather Service advises residents to remain aware of changing mountain conditions while enjoying the unusually warm and dry holiday stretch along the Front Range.
