Colorado’s Front Range is easing into a mild, bright afternoon, but shifting winds and building clouds signal a more active stretch just ahead for Denver commuters.
According to the National Weather Service in Denver/Boulder, temperatures climb to around 67°F today under mostly sunny skies, with light winds increasing slightly through the afternoon. Shower chances begin to build by Tuesday afternoon, with precipitation probabilities rising to 50% after 1 p.m.
Across the Denver metro and along I-25 and I-70, roads stay dry today, offering smooth travel conditions. Still, winds may gust near 15 mph, especially in open areas, adding a slight crosswind for high-profile vehicles.
By Tuesday, clouds increase and scattered showers develop during the afternoon hours. Temperatures reach near 70°F, but changing conditions could lead to brief wet pavement and reduced visibility during the evening commute.
Wednesday brings a warmer push, with highs near 75°F and only a slight chance of showers. However, that break is brief. By Thursday, shower chances return, with another round of wet roads possible later in the day.
Looking ahead, a gradual increase in moisture continues into the end of the week, keeping periodic rain chances in the forecast while temperatures remain mild.
