Plains and urban corridors will reach the 80s, while mountain valleys will see highs in the 60s and 70s.

The weather turns more active Tuesday, with scattered to widespread thunderstorms likely across the region. Highs will dip into the 70s for the plains and 60s in the mountain valleys.
