Denver, CO – North central and northeast Colorado will see another cool and mostly cloudy day Friday before a strong warming trend brings much milder conditions to the region over the weekend, according to the US National Weather Service Denver/Boulder CO.
Today’s highs will range from the upper 50s to low 60s for areas including Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins, and Sterling, while higher elevations like Breckenridge and Fairplay remain cooler in the low 50s. Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy throughout the afternoon with light winds and dry conditions across the area.
Forecasters expect a significant warm-up this weekend, with highs reaching mid to upper 70s along the Front Range by Sunday. Mountain communities will also see a rebound, with temperatures climbing into the upper 50s to near 60°F.
No rain or snow is expected through early next week, making this one of the region’s most pleasant weekends in recent weeks.
