According to the National Weather Service, a Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 10 a.m. Monday, impacting major highways including I-5, I-805, I-8, and I-15. The fog will extend up to 12 miles inland in San Diego County and 20 miles inland in Orange County, potentially affecting morning commutes and flights at San Diego International Airport.
Conditions will gradually clear by midday Monday, with mostly sunny skies and a high near 68°F. The week ahead brings increasing clouds on Tuesday, with a chance of rain overnight. Rain is likely on Wednesday, tapering to scattered showers Wednesday night into Thursday. Highs will hover in the mid-60s, with overnight lows in the low 50s.
Motorists should slow down, use headlights, and allow extra travel time while the advisory remains in effect. Those flying out of San Diego International Airport should check for potential delays.
