Flagstaff, AZ – The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a Dense Fog Advisory in effect until 6:00 AM MST Monday for parts of northern and central Arizona, including Yavapai County Mountains, the Verde Valley, and western Mogollon Rim.
Visibility may fall below a quarter of a mile in some locations, particularly along the Interstate 17 corridor from Cordes Junction to Kachina Village. Areas such as Flagstaff, Sedona, Cottonwood, Prescott, and Williams may also experience periods of dense fog.
Motorists traveling overnight and early Monday morning should reduce speed, use low-beam headlights, and allow extra distance between vehicles.
Following the fog, conditions are expected to clear and turn sunny with daytime highs in the low 50s to mid-50s and chilly nights dropping into the 20s. Thanksgiving week looks calm and mild with sunshine prevailing.
