Mount Holly, NJ – A pleasant fall day is on tap for the Mid-Atlantic, with the National Weather Service Philadelphia/Mount Holly forecasting plenty of sunshine and afternoon highs near 70 degrees across New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland.

According to the weather service, a cold front will move through late Tuesday night, bringing a quick round of light rain across the region. Rainfall totals are expected to remain low—generally under 0.1 inch—before conditions clear out again by early Wednesday.

Forecasters say the day will start mostly sunny and mild, making for ideal conditions for outdoor activities and commutes. However, clouds will increase this evening ahead of the approaching front. Behind the system, cooler and breezier weather is expected midweek.

Drivers are advised to watch for slick spots overnight, especially on untreated roads. No severe weather or flooding is expected with this system.
