Philadelphia, PA – Dry, sunny skies are expected to continue across the region as residents head into the end of the week, though temperatures will remain slightly cooler today.

According to the National Weather Service in Mount Holly, Thursday (Oct. 2) will bring highs mainly in the low to mid-60s across much of eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and northeastern Maryland. Coastal areas, including Cape May and Atlantic City, are forecast to remain in the upper 60s, while Philadelphia may reach close to 70.

By Friday, conditions will warm slightly, with highs in the upper 60s to mid-70s. High pressure will keep the area dry and mostly sunny, creating ideal conditions for outdoor plans heading into the weekend.

Forecasters note that no significant rain or storm systems are expected through the week, though temperatures could dip during overnight hours. Residents should expect crisp mornings and evenings but pleasant afternoons, especially Friday when warmer air moves in.

Travelers and commuters can anticipate smooth conditions, as no weather-related disruptions are expected. The clear, dry stretch comes as a relief after several recent unsettled weeks across the Mid-Atlantic.
