Troopers responded at approximately 2:41 a.m. to the area of Honolulu Road and Reed Street, where they found a 27-year-old Frankford man and a 38-year-old woman from Selbyville suffering injuries. Both were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening conditions.

According to investigators, the pair had been traveling when unknown suspects allegedly opened fire, hitting their vehicle with multiple rounds. Police said the woman sustained cuts from shattered glass, while the man suffered both debris-related injuries and a gunshot wound to his hand.
