Delaware Red Roof Inn Armed Robbery: Three Suspects Identified, One Arrested

New Castle, DE – Delaware State Police have arrested 32-year-old Demetris Graham of Wilmington in connection with an alleged armed robbery that occurred at the Red Roof Inn and Suites earlier this summer.

On July 2, at approximately 3:18 a.m., troopers responded to a robbery at the hotel on North Dupont Highway in New Castle. According to police reports, Graham and a female accomplice, identified as Alexis Smith of Wilmington, allegedly demanded money from the clerk. During the robbery, Graham allegedly jumped over the counter and threatened the clerk with a knife before fleeing the scene with the stolen cash.

Investigators identified two additional suspects: 37-year-old Matthew Daniels of Philadelphia and 32-year-old Eric Flowers of Brookhaven, Pennsylvania. Arrest warrants have been issued for all three suspects.

Graham was apprehended on August 19 during a pedestrian stop in Wilmington. He was charged with multiple felonies, including first-degree robbery, possession of a deadly weapon, and conspiracy. Graham is currently held on a $105,000 cash bond at the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution.
