Dearborn, MI – Two Juveniles Arrested After Stabbing of 16-Year-Old

DEARBORN, MI – Two 15-year-old juveniles have been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a 16-year-old boy late Wednesday night, according to the Dearborn Police Department.

The incident occurred around 11 p.m. on March 19 near Warren and Schaefer. Police responded within minutes after receiving reports of an altercation involving multiple juveniles. Authorities say an argument between two groups escalated when one individual pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times before fleeing the scene.

Dearborn officers provided first aid before Dearborn Fire Department personnel transported the victim to a nearby hospital. He is in stable condition and expected to recover.

Through an investigation, police identified and arrested two 15-year-old male suspects. A warrant request has been submitted to the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office – Juvenile Division for review. Both suspects remain in custody at the Wayne County Juvenile Detention Facility.
