Nashville, TN – Four teenagers have died following a two-vehicle crash early Sunday on Mt. View Road near Asheford Trace, according to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department.

Police identified the victims as Maximos Ibrahim, 19, Raafat Nassif, 17, David Fakhory, 19, and Kerlos Toma, 17, who was driving a 2010 Infiniti G37. The crash occurred around 12:45 a.m. Sunday when the Infiniti collided with a northbound 2018 Jeep Renegade.

According to investigators, the Infiniti was traveling westbound on Mt. View Road at a high rate of speed when it crossed into the oncoming lane, striking the Jeep head-on. Ibrahim and Nassif, both from Nashville, died at the scene. Fakhory, of Nolensville, was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he later died.

Toma, of Murfreesboro, was initially hospitalized with life-threatening injuries but later succumbed, police confirmed in an update Monday. The 24-year-old driver of the Jeep suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries. No one in either vehicle was wearing a seatbelt, according to police.

Authorities say evidence shows the Infiniti was partially in the opposing lane at the time of impact. The District Attorney’s Office will oversee the ongoing investigation to determine final findings on vehicle positioning and contributing factors.
