Davidson County, NC – A Lexington woman was arrested on drug charges after Davidson County Sheriff’s deputies allegedly found Fentanyl during a traffic stop in Clemmons on Sunday, October 12, 2025.
According to the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office, the department’s T.R.A.C.E. Team stopped a 2012 Nissan Rouge traveling on Central Road for a traffic violation. During the investigation, detectives searched the vehicle and allegedly located Fentanyl in the driver’s possession.
Deputies identified the driver as Brennan Alexander, 31, of Lexington, who was arrested and charged with possession of Fentanyl and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Authorities said Alexander is scheduled to appear in Davidson County Court on December 1, 2025.
The Sheriff’s Office noted that under North Carolina General Statute 15A-532, judicial officials determine bond conditions for the release of individuals in court proceedings. Law enforcement officers do not set bond amounts.
Officials also reminded the public that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
