Davidson County, NC – A 73-year-old Winston-Salem woman has been arrested following an investigation into a structure fire in Clemmons, according to the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office.
Detectives with the department’s Traffic and Criminal Enforcement Team (TRACE) arrested Vickie Rushing Quesenberry on November 5, 2025, after determining the blaze on Queensbury Drive was intentionally set.
According to investigators, deputies and fire officials first responded to 303 Queensbury Drive on October 20 regarding a reported structure fire. After a joint investigation by the Sheriff’s Office and the Davidson County Fire Marshal’s Office, authorities concluded the cause was arson.
Quesenberry was charged with arson and fraudulent burning of a dwelling. She was booked into the Davidson County Jail on a $20,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Davidson County Court later this month, officials said.
Authorities reminded the public that bond amounts are set by judicial officials, not law enforcement, and that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
