Detectives also alleged that Angela Carpenter Amburn, 40, was aware of the abuse and actively participated in facilitating it.
Investigators obtained arrest warrants for Jeremy Amburn on multiple felony charges, including five counts of statutory sex offense, five counts of indecent liberties with a minor, felony incest, and felony sex offense by a substitute parent. Angela Amburn was charged with four felony counts of aiding and abetting and one felony count of child abuse.
On September 12, 2025, sheriff’s deputies, with assistance from Thomasville Police, executed a search warrant at the Amburns’ Denton home. Both suspects were taken into custody without incident.
