Davenport, IA – Families across the Quad Cities region can expect a crisp and seasonally cool Halloween evening as temperatures dip into the 40s, perfect for a cozy jacket and some warm cider after trick-or-treating.
According to the US National Weather Service Quad Cities, temperatures will range from the mid-40s northwest to the low 50s southeast Thursday evening, with light northwest winds around 5–10 mph. Increasing clouds are expected, but conditions should remain mostly dry through the night.
Friday will bring highs in the low to mid-50s with partly sunny skies. A 10–30% chance of light showers may develop Friday night into early Saturday, but rainfall totals are expected to stay minimal.
Over the weekend, highs will hover near 50°F, with overnight lows dipping into the upper 20s to low 30s, marking one of the chilliest nights of the fall season so far. By Sunday, sunshine returns with highs climbing back into the mid-50s.
Residents are advised to dress warmly for evening events and prepare for frosty conditions late Saturday night into early Sunday.
