Davenport, Iowa – Unseasonably mild temperatures will continue across the Quad Cities this week, but fog and drizzle are expected to create the most noticeable impacts Wednesday into Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.

Tonight, temperatures in Davenport will fall to 30 to 39 degrees, with partly to mostly cloudy skies. Tuesday will remain mild, with highs ranging from 39 to 53 degrees, and no significant precipitation expected.

Conditions become more unsettled on Wednesday, which is expected to be the most affected day. Forecast highs range from 36 to 55 degrees, with a 30 percent chance of light rain developing. Low clouds, fog, and periods of drizzle may reduce visibility, particularly during the morning and evening commute.

On Thursday, cloudy skies and areas of morning fog are expected to persist, with temperatures climbing to 42 to 58 degrees. While widespread rain is not anticipated, damp conditions may linger into midday.

By Friday, conditions improve with partly sunny skies and continued mild weather. Highs are forecast between 45 and 60 degrees, especially south of Interstate 80, where some locations may approach near 60 degrees.

While winter weather is not expected, drivers are advised to use caution during periods of fog and drizzle, especially Wednesday and early Thursday when visibility may be reduced.
