Davenport, IA: 20-Year-Old Killed in Northwest Boulevard Shooting

Davenport, IA – A 20-year-old man died after a shooting on Northwest Boulevard on Thursday night. The Davenport Police Department responded to a report of gunfire at approximately 9:07 p.m. alongside personnel from the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, Iowa State Patrol, Davenport Fire Department, and Medic EMS.

Responding officers found three victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency personnel transported a 27-year-old woman and a 17-year-old male to a local hospital for treatment. They sustained non-life-threatening injuries. However, the 20-year-old male was critically wounded and later died at the hospital.

The Davenport Police Department reported that the shooting was not a random act of violence. Authorities are actively investigating the incident, but no further details have been released.
