Darlington County, SC – Two men were arrested early Thursday morning following simultaneous drug raids in the Society Hill area, according to the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office.

In a coordinated effort around dawn on November 6, 2025, the Darlington County Combined Drug Unit and the Special Incident Response Team (S.I.R.T.), made up of both county deputies and Hartsville City officers, executed two search warrants—one on the 1400 block of Sherrills Mill Road and another on the 3900 block of East Old Camden Road.

According to Sheriff James Hudson, at the Sherrills Mill Road residence, deputies seized four firearms, 2.9 grams of cocaine, 3.4 grams of methamphetamine, 3.41 grams of marijuana, and a stolen vehicle out of North Carolina.
Antonio Johnson was arrested on scene and charged with multiple drug and firearm offenses, including possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and cocaine base. Johnson was reportedly out on bond for a 2022 murder charge.

At the East Old Camden Road home, investigators recovered 232 grams of marijuana, 3 units of alprazolam, 0.6 grams of methamphetamine, and one firearm. Quantavis Johnson was arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, and intent to distribute marijuana.

Both searches were connected and carried out simultaneously, officials said. The suspects remain in custody at the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center awaiting bond hearings Thursday afternoon.
