Darlington, SC – A Darlington County man has been arrested after deputies say he allegedly assaulted and kidnapped a victim during a violent domestic dispute that spanned several days.
According to the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a domestic violence call on October 13, 2025, in the Darlington area. Investigators determined that between October 9 and October 13, the suspect allegedly forced the victim to travel against their will from Darlington to Lamar.
During the ordeal, the suspect reportedly took the victim’s cellphone and used physical violence, including choking the victim multiple times, according to the sheriff’s report.
As a result of the investigation, Juelz Lucas was arrested on October 17 and charged with Domestic Violence of a High and Aggravated Nature and Kidnapping. His bond was denied during a hearing before a Darlington County magistrate Friday afternoon.
Lucas remains in custody at the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center, the sheriff’s office confirmed. The investigation remains active, and no additional information has been released.
