Darke County, OH – Greenville Man Airlifted After Willis Road Rollover Crash

Darke County, OH – Emergency crews responded early Monday morning after a rollover crash left one driver hospitalized in Greenville Township.

According to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 7:23 a.m. on the 6300 block of Willis Road. Deputies, Greenville Fire, Greenville Township Fire, Greenville Township Rescue, and CareFlight were dispatched to the scene for an injury crash.

Investigators said a silver 2009 Buick Lucerne, driven by 34-year-old Justin Strickland of Greenville, was heading southbound on Willis Road when it veered off the left side. The car struck a bridge, flipped, and rolled onto its roof. Strickland was the only occupant in the vehicle.

He was transported by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital, where officials report he is in stable condition.

The sheriff’s office has not released details on what may have caused the crash, and the roadway has since been cleared. Drivers in the area experienced temporary delays during the morning response.
