Sunday’s high will reach 59°F, with rain and gusty conditions. Washington’s Birthday on Monday will be significantly cooler, with highs around 40°F and breezy conditions. Tuesday will see mostly sunny skies but a chilly high of 38°F, followed by a cold Tuesday night at 22°F. A chance of snow returns Wednesday, with highs only reaching 31°F.
Looking ahead, Arctic air will grip much of the U.S. next week, sending wind chills plummeting. Virginia residents should prepare for a sharp temperature drop and possible snow midweek.
