Fitchburg, WI – The Fitchburg Police Department is hosting its annual “Stuff a Squad” food drive today, Saturday, November 8, 2025, collecting donations to support the Allied Food Pantry and families in need this holiday season.

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Pick ’n Save and Hy-Vee in Fitchburg. Officers and professional staff are on site inviting residents to “stuff” a police squad car with non-perishable food and personal care items.

Organizers say every can, box, or bag of food helps local families facing food insecurity. Donations collected today will go directly to the Allied Food Pantry, which serves households across Fitchburg and the greater Madison area.

Residents are encouraged to stop by, meet local officers, and lend support. The department calls the annual effort a way to “fill a squad car with kindness and generosity” ahead of the holiday season.

The Fitchburg Police Department shared that this community partnership continues to grow each year, helping stock shelves and provide meals for families during winter months.
