DALLAS, Texas – Clear skies and crisp fall air will set the stage for an ideal Halloween evening across North and Central Texas, with no rain and just a hint of a cool breeze.

According to the National Weather Service in Fort Worth, temperatures will start in the mid-to-upper 60s around sunset Friday before steadily dropping into the upper 50s by 9 p.m. and lower 50s late in the evening. Areas from Dallas-Fort Worth to Waco, Sherman, and Athens will all enjoy light winds under mostly clear to partly cloudy skies.

No rain is expected, and humidity will stay low, keeping conditions comfortable for trick-or-treaters and outdoor events. Sunset will occur between 6:26 and 6:45 p.m. across the region, with mild evening temperatures perfect for costumes and neighborhood gatherings.

Forecasters say the region’s quiet fall stretch will continue through the weekend, with highs returning to the lower 70s and cool, dry mornings in the 40s. Residents can expect excellent travel and outdoor conditions into early next week as high pressure maintains control.

Parents are encouraged to ensure kids wear reflective gear or carry flashlights after dark, as visibility may be reduced in dimly lit neighborhoods.
