Cross Lanes, WV – The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating missing siblings Kynslee Cline and Joshua Kyle Cline Jr., who were last seen in December.

According to the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office, the children were under the care and custody of the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources (WVDHHR). When representatives attempted to take custody, the children’s parents, Lora Vance and Joshua Cline, allegedly left the area with the juveniles.

Authorities said the children have not attended school since December 18, 2025, and Child Protective Services has had no contact with them since December 23, 2025. WVDHHR officially reported the pair missing on January 10, 2026.

Officials do not believe the children are currently in danger but are asking anyone with information about their whereabouts to contact Corporal M.W. Oakley at 304-357-0169 or a detective with the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office at 304-357-0556.

The department shared photos of both children and urged residents of Cross Lanes and surrounding communities to remain alert.
