Crestwood, IL – Motorists are advised to expect significant delays on the Cal Sag Bridge in Crestwood starting this week.
According to the Crestwood Police Department, from April 14 to 18, traffic will be reduced to one-way and controlled by flaggers due to Federal inspections. Drivers are urged to pay attention to flaggers and consider using alternate routes to avoid delays.
Furthermore, on April 28, 2025, the bridge will be completely closed for extensive structural repairs, as announced by the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT). This closure is expected to last through the end of the year, and detour signs will be posted by the end of this week or early next week.
For more updates, drivers are encouraged to stay informed about changes and be prepared for continued disruptions in the coming months.
