Meadville, PA — Pennsylvania State Police are continuing an urgent search for Candice Caffas, a 34-year-old woman reported missing from the Meadville area, as investigators warn she may be at special risk of harm.

According to Pennsylvania State Police Troop E in Meadville, Caffas was last seen on Friday, July 15, around 10:00 p.m., walking along Mt. Pleasant Road in Meadville, located in Crawford County, roughly 40 miles south of Erie in northwestern Pennsylvania.

Police later confirmed she was seen again in the early morning hours of Saturday, July 16, between 5:30 a.m. and 5:45 a.m., by multiple witnesses along Route 285, near railroad tracks at State Game Lands #213, between Geneva, PA, and Conneaut Lake.

State police say Caffas is described as 4 feet 9 inches tall, weighing approximately 95 pounds, with dirty blonde hair and green eyes. At the time she was last seen, she was believed to be wearing glasses, a purple T-shirt, orange pants with a flower design, and purple and blue sneakers.

Investigators believe Caffas may be confused and could be in danger due to her condition. Because of those concerns, the case has been classified as an endangered missing person advisory.

Authorities are offering a $5,000 cash reward for information that leads to resolving the case. The reward is funded through asset forfeiture and not taxpayer money, according to police.

Anyone with information is urged to call 911 immediately, contact PSP Meadville at 814-332-6911, or submit tips anonymously through PSP Tips at 1-800-4PA-TIPS (8477) or online.
