Corpus Christi, TX – A stretch of warm, dry, and sunny weather is settling over South Texas this week following the passage of a weak front overnight, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Corpus Christi.
Forecasters expect high temperatures to reach the upper 90s across the Brush Country and the upper 80s to low 90s near the coast through midweek. Drier air will keep humidity levels lower than recent days, creating comfortable conditions despite the heat.
Overnight lows will cool into the upper 50s in the Victoria Crossroads region and the 60s elsewhere, offering mild mornings. The warm and mostly clear pattern is expected to continue through Thursday, with a slight (25%) chance of rain Friday, mainly across the Victoria area.
The NWS advises residents to stay hydrated and limit outdoor activities during peak afternoon heat, particularly inland where temperatures could briefly approach 100°F.
