Corpus Christi, TX – Residents across the Coastal Bend can expect warm weather through the week with limited chances of rain, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters report daytime highs ranging from the upper 80s to upper 90s across South Texas. While Thursday remains mostly dry, isolated showers and storms may develop starting Friday, with rain chances between 30% and 40% lingering into early next week.

According to the National Weather Service Corpus Christi office, Friday and Saturday carry a 40% chance of showers for portions of the Coastal Bend and eastern counties. Rain chances taper slightly to 30% Sunday before rebounding to 35% Monday. Lows are forecast to stay mild, generally in the upper 60s to upper 70s overnight.

Tonight’s outlook calls for mostly clear skies with comfortable conditions. Temperatures are expected to dip into the upper 60s inland and hold in the low to mid-70s closer to the coast. Light winds will add to the pleasant evening weather.

The stretch of hot afternoons combined with intermittent rain chances could impact weekend outdoor plans. Residents are encouraged to monitor forecasts for updates on timing and location of potential showers.
