Corpus Christi, TX – Residents along the Texas coast can look forward to cooler temperatures this weekend, with mostly sunny skies expected to continue into early next week.

According to the National Weather Service in Corpus Christi, daytime highs will range between the upper 80s and mid-90s through Wednesday, while overnight lows dip into the mid-60s to mid-70s. Dry conditions are forecast through the weekend, with only minimal chances for rain returning Monday and Tuesday.

Forecasters say Monday carries the best chance of a passing shower, though the probability is just 15%. Tuesday and Wednesday rain chances fall even lower, with less than a 10% chance of isolated sprinkles across the region.

The cooler pattern should provide some relief after recent heat, though temperatures remain slightly above average for late September. Winds will stay light, helping maintain comfortable conditions for outdoor activities across Nueces County and the greater Corpus Christi area.

Beachgoers and boaters can also expect mostly favorable weather through midweek, though officials urge residents to stay alert for sudden changes in coastal conditions.

This stable stretch of weather is expected to continue until a new system approaches late next week, which could increase rain chances across South Texas.
