Corpus Christi, TX – The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi reports that rain-free and warmer-than-normal weather will dominate much of South Texas through early next week, with only a slight break expected Friday.
Forecasters say most of the region will stay sunny and hot, with highs ranging from the mid-80s along the coast to the mid-90s inland. The only rain chance comes Friday, when a 25% chance of showers and storms may develop over the Victoria Crossroads area.
Overnight lows will remain warm along the coast — in the mid-70s — while inland temperatures may cool slightly into the low to mid-60s.
“This pattern of warm, dry weather will persist into early next week,” the NWS said Wednesday morning. “Aside from a few isolated storms Friday, most locations will remain dry.”
Residents are encouraged to stay hydrated and limit prolonged outdoor activity during peak afternoon heat, especially inland where temperatures could approach the mid- to upper-90s over the weekend.
