Coos County, OR – Deputies in Coos County executed a second raid at a North Bend residence this week, seizing firearms, fentanyl, and more than $7,200 in cash.
According to the Coos County Sheriff’s Office, a search warrant was carried out around 5 p.m. Tuesday, September 16, at a property located at 2960 Broadway Avenue in North Bend. Investigators with the South Coast Interagency Narcotics Team (SCINT) reported multiple public tips led to the warrant targeting Michael O’Neill and Christopher Medeiros as suspects.
During the search, deputies allegedly found three firearms, a suppressor, fentanyl pills and powder, along with $7,244 in U.S. currency. O’Neill was arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of a suppressor. Medeiros was taken into custody for possession of fentanyl, while a third person, Alejandra Salcedolozeau, was arrested on suspicion of violating parole.
The sheriff’s office stated that all suspects were booked into the Coos County Jail. The narcotics will be tested at the Oregon State Police crime lab.
Officials say the investigation remains ongoing as they work to combat the distribution of drugs and illegal firearms in Coos County. Authorities thanked community members for the tips that contributed to the operation.
