Buffalo, NY – After a brief heat surge, cooler weather is set to arrive in Buffalo on Wednesday, bringing a chance of showers and gusty winds. Temperatures will drop significantly from today’s high of 79°F, falling to 68°F by mid-afternoon.
According to the National Weather Service, showers will develop after 2 p.m. Wednesday, with a 50% chance of rain. Winds are expected to pick up, gusting as high as 43 mph. Those commuting along I-190 should prepare for slick roads and reduced visibility.
By Wednesday night, temperatures will dip further, with lows around 42°F and scattered rain continuing into early Thursday morning. Thursday will bring a much cooler day, with highs only reaching 52°F and partly cloudy skies. The cooler pattern is expected to persist through the rest of the week, with rain returning Friday.
