San Diego, CA – San Diego residents can expect cooler temperatures starting Friday, as a shift in weather patterns brings relief from the recent heat. Highs on Friday are forecasted to dip slightly below seasonal averages, providing a more comfortable weekend.

According to the U.S. National Weather Service San Diego, Thursday will still see warm conditions with highs reaching into the 90s inland. However, by Friday, temperatures will drop, with coastal areas experiencing highs in the mid-70s, while inland valleys may see temperatures in the low 80s.

The weekend will continue this cooling trend. Saturday and Sunday will bring highs in the low to mid-70s along the coast and mid-70s to low 80s inland. The cooler weather will provide a much-needed break from the summer heat, making it an ideal time for outdoor activities.
