Caribou, ME – Residents in northern Maine can expect cooler weather today and tomorrow before temperatures warm later in the week. Monday will see partly cloudy skies with highs in the low to mid-60s in the north, while southern areas may reach near 70 degrees.

According to the National Weather Service in Caribou, lows tonight will drop to around 40 degrees in the northern valleys, while Downeast areas will remain near 50 degrees.

Tuesday will stay cool, with high temperatures ranging from the low 60s in the north to the upper 60s near the coast. Cloud cover is expected to be variable.

The second half of the week promises a shift to sunnier, warmer conditions. Inland regions could see highs in the low 70s on Wednesday, with temperatures rising into the upper 70s by Thursday and Friday.

As fall approaches, residents should enjoy the cooler days before the warmer weather settles in later this week.
