Cook County, IL – A man wanted in connection with multiple armed robberies in Pennsylvania was arrested last week in the southwest suburb of Bridgeview, according to the Cook County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the Cook County Sheriff’s Office, members of the Fugitive Apprehension Unit, working alongside the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force, developed information that led them to believe 36-year-old Sean Favors was staying in the southwest suburbs of Chicago.

Investigators set up surveillance on December 11 in the 9900 block of Industrial Drive in Bridgeview. Authorities say a black 2022 Subaru pulled into the area with Favors seated in the passenger seat. Officers then approached the vehicle and took Favors into custody without incident.

Favors, who lists an address in Sauk Village, is wanted on both federal and local charges related to armed robberies that allegedly occurred in the Philadelphia area, according to officials. He also has an outstanding warrant for an alleged probation violation tied to prior burglary convictions.

Authorities confirmed that Favors is currently being held in Cook County Jail, where he remains in custody while awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania.

The Cook County Sheriff’s Office emphasized that the arrest highlights ongoing cooperation between local and federal law enforcement agencies in tracking down fugitives who cross state lines.

Officials also reminded the public that all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
