Concord, NH – New Hampshire State Police are renewing efforts to solve a decades-old suspicious death case involving 21-year-old David Braley, whose body was found in the Merrimack River in 1990, months after he was last seen alive in Concord.

According to the New Hampshire State Police, Braley, of Belmont, was last seen on Friday, November 10, 1989, at the Take 5 Music Hall Night Club in Concord. His body was recovered from the Merrimack River in Manchester on March 18, 1990.

Investigators believe Braley was involved in an altercation behind the nightclub that night and was badly beaten before his body was dumped into the river. Although the state medical examiner did not rule the case a homicide, authorities say the circumstances surrounding his death remain suspicious and suggest possible foul play.

Police continue to seek information that could lead to justice for Braley and closure for his family. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Cold Case Unit using the Tip Form or email coldcaseunit@dos.nh.gov.
