Columbus, OH – A Franklin County man was arrested Wednesday after authorities allegedly discovered a large stash of narcotics and a firearm during a search warrant in Columbus.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, the Special Investigations Unit, with support from SWAT and the U.S. Marshals Service, executed the warrant at a residence on South Hague Avenue. Investigators reported finding Anthony Warren in possession of approximately 180 grams of suspected fentanyl, 294 grams of suspected crack cocaine, and 58 grams of suspected methamphetamine.

Deputies also said Warren, who is prohibited from possessing firearms, was found with a gun at the time of his arrest. Authorities noted the drugs recovered represent a substantial quantity believed to be intended for trafficking.

Warren is currently charged with felony possession of fentanyl, though officials said additional charges are expected as the investigation continues. No injuries were reported during the execution of the warrant.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office emphasized that the arrest was part of an ongoing effort to curb narcotics distribution in the Columbus area, which has seen repeated challenges with fentanyl-related overdoses.

Authorities have not released further details on Warren’s upcoming court appearance.
