Sheriff Brian McLaughlin said the Columbiana County Drug Task Force, assisted by the East Liverpool Police Department and other local agencies, executed a search warrant at 727 Avondale Street. Inside the home, agents located Thomas Joy, Jason Call, Angel Potts, and Janet Potts. Shane Potts, who was not present at the time, was identified as a resident of the property.

According to investigators, officers recovered 39 grams of methamphetamine, 21 grams of cocaine, and multiple Suboxone strips, along with materials used for packaging and distribution.
