Columbia, SC Weather: Warm 80s with Chance of Showers Sunday

Columbia, SC – After a cool start to the week, residents across South Carolina can expect a warm-up this weekend with temperatures reaching the mid-70s to low 80s, according to the US National Weather Service in Columbia.

Forecasters say Friday will bring partly to mostly sunny skies, with highs between 75 and 82 degrees. Saturday is expected to see more cloud cover, though conditions should remain dry for most areas, with highs ranging from 77 to 84 degrees.

According to the weather service, the best chance for rain arrives Sunday, mainly for the Southern Midlands and CSRA region. Scattered showers or a passing storm may develop, particularly during the afternoon and evening hours, while much of the rest of the Midlands should remain dry. Highs Sunday will reach 79 to 82 degrees.

The weekend outlook suggests favorable conditions for outdoor activities Friday and Saturday, though residents planning events Sunday should monitor forecasts closely. Rain chances remain limited but could impact travel or outdoor gatherings in southern counties.
