Columbia County, WI Hit-and-Run: Sheriff Seeks Driver of Semi-Truck After Hwy 151 Crash

Columbus, WI – Authorities in Columbia County are seeking the public’s help in identifying the driver of a red semi-truck involved in a hit-and-run crash on Highway 151 last week, according to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to the scene near mile marker 116 in the Township of Columbus at approximately 3:49 p.m. on December 1, 2025, following a collision between a semi-truck and an occupied passenger car. The semi-truck, described as red and pulling a trailer, allegedly continued southbound without stopping after the crash.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has dashcam footage from the area to come forward. Information can be shared with Det. Sgt.
