Denver, Colorado – Snow showers are expected to continue across Colorado today and into tonight, with the heaviest snow hitting the Front Range mountains, foothills, and areas including South Park. Winter Weather Advisories remain in effect for higher elevations, where difficult travel conditions are likely, especially along the I-25 corridor.

According to the National Weather Service, light to moderate snow accumulation is expected across the state, with heavier snowfall in the mountains and foothills. Snow totals in these regions could range from 2 to 6 inches, with some areas receiving even more by the time the storm ends early Friday morning.

Travel will be challenging in these areas, particularly along mountain routes and the Foothills. Roadways are expected to become slick, creating hazardous conditions for both morning and evening commutes. Drivers are urged to slow down and use extra caution if traveling in affected areas.

Winter Weather Advisories are expected to remain in effect until at least 6 a.m. Friday. Local authorities continue to monitor conditions, and further advisories may be issued as the storm progresses.
