Pueblo, CO – Winter weather continues to affect Colorado’s high-altitude regions as a Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 5 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2025. The National Weather Service has issued warnings for several mountainous areas, including the Eastern Sawatch Mountains, Western Mosquito Range, and parts of Saguache County.

According to the advisory, snow accumulations are expected to range between 6 and 14 inches, depending on the area, with gusty winds up to 35 mph. These conditions are likely to cause hazardous travel, particularly along mountain passes and higher elevations.

Travelers should be prepared for difficult driving conditions, including reduced visibility and slick roads. The storm is expected to continue overnight, with snow intensifying through the morning hours. Drivers are advised to slow down and stay updated on road conditions by calling 511 for real-time information.

Local authorities urge residents and travelers to exercise caution, as these weather conditions are expected to disrupt travel in both remote and populated areas of the Colorado mountains.
