Denver, CO – February kicks off with warm and dry conditions across Colorado, but strong winds and occasional mountain snow will impact some areas.

According to the National Weather Service, sunny skies and highs near 60°F are expected in Denver on Saturday. However, strong winds up to 65 mph will sweep through the Front Range foothills Friday night into Saturday, creating hazardous conditions for travelers. Those driving on I-70 or through mountain passes should be prepared for gusty conditions.

Sunday remains mild, with highs near 63°F and partly sunny skies. Another system midweek could bring light snow to the mountains and cooler temperatures across the region. Monday’s high will reach 66°F before cooling slightly into the upper 50s by Wednesday.

Residents should secure loose outdoor objects ahead of the strong winds and stay updated on changing mountain conditions. Spotter reports on snowfall will be appreciated by the National Weather Service.
