Colorado Weather Update: Snow Showers Taper Off Today, Clear Skies Expected Monday

Grand Junction, CO – Snow showers will taper off by this afternoon, giving way to clear skies and mild temperatures for the start of the week.

According to the National Weather Service in Grand Junction, today’s highs will reach 47 degrees, several degrees above seasonal averages. Overnight, temperatures will drop to 21 degrees under mostly clear skies. Monday will be sunny with highs near 49 and light winds from the east.

Later in the week, conditions remain calm, with sunny skies forecast through Thursday. A system moving south of the region may bring snow to higher elevations in the San Juans by midweek.

Residents are encouraged to stay cautious on local roads this morning as residual snow and ice may linger in some areas.
